School Closure
There may be occasions when the weather is so severe, e.g. very heavy snowfall, that for the health and safety of pupils and staff, the school will be closed. This is likely to be a very rare event. When exceptionally severe weather conditions are forecast for the whole authority and the Police are recommending that only essential journeys should be made, the Head and the Chair of Governors may make the decision to close the school.
The school will communicate with the parents to advise if the school is to be closed.
